Project Management

The most important thing i learned about project management is, “Plan in minutes and make errors in minutes, plan in years and make errors in years”~Prof. Arthur P. Thomas

Project management taught me a whole lot. I learned how to initiate a project, how to gain stakeholder buy-in and how to rally and assemble a team of competent professionals to achieve a common goal. The lifecycle aspects from initiation to implementation and maintenance, as well as paying attention to the triple constraint.

Being mindful of others, having emotional intelligence. Managing, organizing and handling project management software and tools to be able to come up with an effective proposal, proceed to planning with a detailed work break down structure, follow up on risks, issues, assumptions and deadlines to ensure that the time, cost and scope do not creep and most importantly imbibe the lessons learned from a project, irrespective of its success.
